George Carrington Diary

George Carrington was a miner at Markham Colliery.  He started a diary during the 1972 strike and his diary gives a sense of how he saw events and what he knew about the situation both locally and nationally.

With the generous permission of his family we have scanned George Carrington's diary and produced a transcript.
